Known Issues

Below are the known bugs and issues for the current version of Gundam.

 

Gundam seems to start OK (screen goes black) but then nothing happens.

This is a Java problem to do with the exclusive Full Screen Mode and changing the screen resolution. Just try it again, reboot, and try it again!

 

I can't hear anything when I play the game, no matter how loud I turn up the volume!

Um yes, I've not added any in-game sound effects yet.

 

When I Alt-Tab, I can't get back to the game.

Just another Java glitch, don't Alt-Tab and you won't get the problem!

 

The game can sometimes get really slow.

Grr, stupid non-transparent volatile images. Try this, goto 'Options' on the main menu, reduce the 'Colour Bit Depth' and turn off the 'Parallax Background'. Things should really start to speed up!

 

But please, don't let the above put you off from downloading Gundam and kicking alien ass!

If you do experience any bugs or issues, then please let me know. If I don't know about it, I can't fix it. If it's an error then I'll probably ask you to zip up and email the following file:

[Gundam Install Dir]/GundamLog.txt

The above is just a text file where I log lots of stuff (including errors) during the course of the game. You can look at it yourself if you don't believe me!
